Fringe Poster Session
ESSCIRC Fringe Poster Program
Call for Contributions.
Following a successful event during last Conference in Athens, ESSCIRC and ESSDERC will be holding also a Fringe event in addition to the main conference in Seville. The Fringe Poster Session will be hold in the same venue as the official meeting and is designed primarily to introduce young engineers, scientists, doctoral candidates and MSc students to the ESSCIRC/ESSDERC conference series. The Fringe forum is ideally suited for the submissions of recent progress and contributions that may present some breaking late news, some ideas, topics, or even collaboration opportunities that participants would like to discuss and share with other participants at the conference. It is expected that the emphasis of fringe submissions will be on the presentation of the latest data (both measurement and/or simulation) as well as new ideas. However, participants are encouraged to be innovative in the true spirit of the Fringe, and the organizers are keen not to be prescriptive.
The ESSCIRC and ESSDERC conferences represent the prime European forums whose aim is the presentation and discussion of recent advances in solid-state circuits and devices. These conference offer multiple opportunities for Master and doctoral candidates, through Plenary Lectures, Workshops, and Tutorials, to networking and to learning the latest research results in solid-state devices and circuits.
All papers submitted to the fringe session will be reviewed by a sub-committee of the the main Technical Programme Committee. Selection will be made on the basis of their originality, completeness, and relevance to the ESSCIRC/ESSDERC conferences. Papers selected for the Fringe Poster Session will be included into separate proceedings that will be published on CD, with its own ISBN. Remember that all students participating at ESSCIRC-ESSDERC will have a reduced registration fee.
