BIOGRAPHY
William Redman-White (member ’83, senior member ‘08) has been with NXP and formerly Philips Semiconductors since 1990, presently as a Fellow in Southampton, UK. He has also worked in San Jose (USA) and Caen (France) on optical storage, WLAN, cellular radio, Bluetooth, digital audio, TV, satellite baseband, high speed serial links and car security. He was previously with Motorola, Geneva, GEC-Marconi Research London, and Post Office Telecommunications, London.Concurrently with his industrial activities, Dr. Redman-White has also had a faculty position in Southampton University UK since 1983, currently as full Professor of Integrated Circuit Design. His research and teaching is centred on analogue and RF IC design, and design issues in SOI CMOS technology.
Dr. Redman-White has published 120 papers and has more than 12 current patents granted with several pending. He has served as an associate editor for the IEEE Journal of Solid State Circuits, is currently Analog Sub-Committee chair for the IEEE International Solid State Circuits Conference, and is an elected member of the SSCS AdCom. He has twice been Technical Programme Chair of the European Solid State Circuits Conference (1997 and 2008), and is currently chairman of the ESSDERC/ESSCIRC series steering committee.

BIOGRAPHY
Bram Nauta was born in Hengelo, The Netherlands in 1964. In 1987 he received the M.Sc degree (cum laude) in electrical engineering from the University of Twente, Enschede, The Netherlands. In 1991 he received the Ph.D. degree from the same university on the subject of analog CMOS filters for very high frequencies. In 1991 he joined the Mixed-Signal Circuits and Systems Department of Philips Research, Eindhoven the Netherlands, where he worked on high speed AD converters and analog key modules. In 1998 he returned to the University of Twente, as full professor heading the IC Design group, which is part of the CTIT Research Institute. His current research interest is high-speed analog CMOS circuits. Besides, he is also part-time consultant in industry and in 2001 he co-founded Chip Design Works.His Ph.D. thesis was published as a book: Analog CMOS Filters for Very High Frequencies,(Springer, 1993) and he received the "Shell Study Tour Award" for his Ph.D. Work. From 1997 until1999 he served as Associate Editor of IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems -II; Analog and Digital Signal Processing. After this, he served as Guest Editor, Associate Editor (2001-2006) - and from 2007 as the Editor-in-Chief for the IEEE Journal of Solid-State Circuits. He is also member of the technical program committees of the International Solid State Circuits Conference (ISSCC), the European Solid State Circuit Conference (ESSCIRC), and the Symposium on VLSI circuits. He is co-recipient of the ISSCC 2002 and 2010 "Van Vessem Outstanding Paper Award", is distinguished lecturer of the IEEE, elected member of IEEE-SSCS AdCom and IEEE fellow.

BIOGRAPHY
Andreia Cathelin (M’04) started her electronic studies at the Polytechnic Institute of Bucarest, Romania and graduated from the Institut Supérieur d’Electronique du Nord (ISEN), Lille, France in 1994. In 1998, she received the Ph. D. degree from IEMN/ISEN, Lille, France regarding the work on a fully-integrated BiCMOS low power – low voltage FM/RDS receiver. From 1997 till 1998, she was with Info Technologies, Gradignan, France, working on analog and RF communications design. Since 1998, she has been with ST Microelectronics, Crolles, France, now in the Technology R&D, Central CAD and Design Solutions, Innovation & External Research design team.She is a senior design expert and her major fields of interest are RF and mmW systems for wireless communications, MEMS devices co-integration and SOI technologies. She is a member of the Technical Program Committee of ISSCC, VLSI Symposium on Circuits, ESSCIRC and NEWCAS/TAISA. She has authored or co-authored more than 50 technical papers and 2 book chapters, and has filed more than 20 patents.

BIOGRAPHY
Markus Helfenstein was born in Lucerne, Switzerland, in 1962. He received the Bachelor degree from the Inst. of Technology in Lucerne in 1986, the diploma and the Dr. Sc. Techn. degree in electrical engineering from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in 1992 and 1997. He also received an MBA in telecommunications management from the University of Fribourg, Switzerland, in 2007.From 1986 to 1988 he was a Research Engineer at Mettler Instrumente AG, Switzerland, involved in the design of high resolution counter IC chips. In 1998, he co-founded Anadec GmbH, a start-up company which holds patents on the design of analog VLSI iterative decoders. Between 2000 and 2002 he was with Globespan Inc. (now Conexant) involved in projects on the design of mixed-signal chips for xDSL applications. He joined Philips Cellular Systems in 2002 which became ST-Ericsson in 2008. He is managing projects utilising GSM/EDGE/UMTS and audio mixed-signal IPs. His scientific interests include analog and digital design techniques for wireless and multi-media applications. He is a member of the CAS Technical Committee of ISCAS, a member of the Technical Program Committee of ESSCIRC and he was an Associate Editor of IEEE TCAS-II.

BIOGRAPHY
Diego Vázquez received the Licenciado (BS) degree in Physical Sciences from the University of Seville (Spain) in 1989, and his PhD degree from the same university on the subject of design and test of analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits in 1995.Since 1990, he is with the Department of Electronics and Electromagnetism at the University of Seville, where he is currently a professor, and with the National Microelectronic Center (today IMSE-CNM), where he carries out his main research activities.
His research interests include design, test and design-for-test techniques for RF, analog and mixed-signal circuits and systems. He has several patents and has published a large number of articles in these fields. Among them, analog filters (including continuous-time and switched-capacitor) have been one of the sub-topics where more attention has been paid to.
