PAPER SUBMISSION IS NOW CLOSED |
Submission web site
The 2010 ESSCIRC/ESSDERC
conferences will only allow electronic submission of papers in PDF format.
Guidelines for paper submission
Detailed submission guidelines, paper templates and submission
instructions can be found at the submission web site.
All papers must be submitted in the final
format to be published in the proceedings. They must not exceed four A4 pages with all illustrations
and references included. The size of the PDF
files submitted should not exceed 2MBytes.
Papers submitted for review must clearly state:
•
The purpose of the work
• How and to what extent it advances the state-of-the-art
• Specific results and their impact
The degree to which the paper deals with the above issues is fundamental
to a successful review and selection of the paper. The most frequent cause of
rejections of submitted papers is a lack of new results. Only work that has not
been previously published at the time of the conference will be considered. Duplicated
submissions to concurrent conferences should be avoided.
Submission of a paper for review and subsequent acceptance is considered
as a commitment that the work will not be placed in the public domain prior to
the conference.
Paper selection and notification of acceptance
All papers will be reviewed and ranked by the corresponding Technical
Program Committee: ESSCIRC papers by the ESSCIRC TPC and ESSDERC papers by the
ESSDERC TPC.
The authors will be informed about the decision by e-mail by early June
2010. At the same time, the complete program will be published at the
conference website.
Fringe poster sessions
During ESSCIRC/ESSDERC a Fringe Poster Session will be held alongside
the main conference and is designed primarily to introduce young engineers,
scientists and students to the ESSDERC/CIRC conference series. The forum is
ideally suited for the submissions of recent progress which may, in some cases,
not be ready for a full paper submission.
The format for fringe poster papers is the same as for regular papers,
but the deadline and submission sites for
fringe poster contributions are different to those for regular papers. Please
refer to the conference web page for instructions.
